Then mid August the whole Roemer crew went up to Eagle river to spend the week on catfish lake and relax. There is nothing relaxing about being prego with twins or just prego and having two children that what to do everything. We had such a great time and are hoping to go back up north in the future. Paul had a trip to remember, he caught his first big musky. He came back to the cabin with no proof of course, because he was by himself with no camera. But I guess we believe him.
Peyton started his big quest into 1st grade, and loves his new teacher Mrs. Klink. He comes home with homework every night and even has spelling test on Fridays. Ryan will start his preschool this coming week and he is looking very forward to it. He wants to be just like his big brother.
Our Rocky is not doing so good. He keeps holding on and his spirit is still as lively as ever. He started not using his left front leg(that is the leg where the cancer had started). He is getting medication twice a day and it seems to be helping with the pain. I guess we are just waiting for something major to happen to say okay it's time. He definitely has his days.
As for me and the babies everything is good. The only complaint I have is not sleeping at night. I have moved myself into the spare bedroom, because the mattress in there is much easier to sleep on. You know what, I have this ridiculous sense of smell these days and to not sleep next to Paul some nights is fine by me. I am arriving on 15 weeks pregnant and last week I started to feel movement. This is crazy to me because with both boys I didn't feel movement until I was 21 weeks. I went to the Dr. at 12 weeks and both babies have really strong heartbeats (173 beats a min.) It was truly amazing to see the ultrasound again. I guess it was a reality check that yes we are having twins. My next appt. is next week and I will hopefully be updating you again real soon.
Take care
Jenny
